Museum Day!

Me outside of Museum of Fine Arts Boston!
Norman Lewis
Robert Motherwell
Mark Rothko
Arnulf Rainer
 Morris Louis

Today I went to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.  What an adventure with lots of treasures. Among many, my favorite were:
Mark Rothko - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Rothko
Norman Lewis - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Lewis_%28artist%29
Morris Louis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_Louis

Some other artist I enjoyed were:
Picasso of course
Arnulf Rainer - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnulf_Rainer
Robert Motherwell - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Motherwell
Ralph Coburn - http://www.dhallfineart.com/gallery_modern/biographies/coburn.html
Bradly Walker Tomlin - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradley_Walker_Tomlin
Stuart Davis - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Davis_%28painter%29
Georgia O’Keefe - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_O%27Keeffe.

The schedule was really packed because  of the snow in yesterday, but overall a nice day.  I learned all sorts of techniques for texture and surface from Hannah this morning.  Can’t wait to get back to canvas and paint! I had another graduate critique that went well.
